Nelson embarked on his writing journey 30 years ago initially focusing on poetry, using it as means of self-expression, capturing the essence of the places he had explored, while also finding solace in poetry during challenging times. To date, he has composed over 6000 poems.
In 2016, he released his debut novel, "Rules for A Born-Again Bachelor” followed by "Perry Gene" in 2020 and "120" in 2022, making "The Fair Way" his fourth novel.
Nelson Brooks has cherry picked a delightful line up of quirky and lovable characters for this comical crime drama, blending satire humour with a dash of romance.
They say crime pays, but at “The Fair Way,” a shabby golf club, the members’ side hustles and sexual peccadillos create a recipe for disaster, and oh boy, are there going to be fireworks! The faces you meet on the street or the train, may hide a far darker side when they emerge from the bushes bordering the Fairway.
